Destiny :: essays research papers

Fate was a misconstrued young lady. She was a discouraged, forlorn, and sad young lady. Her mother was unstable on medications, and her dad was mysteriously gone. She abhorred her life, and she despised every other person, even the individuals who attempted to get her out.      Destiny remained in one the most perilous neighborhoods in Detroit. Two or three days couldn’t past, without seeing or finding out about a battle or killing. She dreaded strolling home from school regular. She was seventeen years of age, a senior in secondary school, who could just peruse at an eighth grade level. Since her mother was never truly around, she would need to remain at home from school to take care of her child sister.      â€Å"Destiny, where’s mother, said Kisha.†      â€Å"I don’t know Kisha said Destiny.†      â€Å"Well I miss mother, she’s consistently gone.†      â€Å"I know, I know, don’t stress I’m here Kisha; I’ll consistently be here.†      It had been a couple of days since Destiny had seen her mother. She was baffled. She couldn’t accept that her mother couldn’t even call her. She cried at whatever point her sister was not in the room.      â€Å"Why is this occurrence to me?†      â€Å"I didn’t successfully merit this sort of life, cried Destiny.†      It was three o’clock in the first part of the day when the telephone rung. She picked up the telephone. It was her mother on the opposite end.      â€Å"Hey child, I’m sorry about not calling you sooner.†      â€Å"Yeah, well where are you at mother Kisha continues getting some information about you.†      â€Å"Well Destiny I was simply calling to disclose to you that I’m not coming home.†      â€Å"What?†      â€Å"I’m going to New York, I have to escape from here.†      â€Å"Mom, shouldn't something be said about us?†      â€Å"Honey you need to assume control over at this point. I love you.†      Her mother hung up, those were the last three words Destiny could ever hear her mother say. She thrashed around the remainder of the night. Kisha came into the space to wake up Destiny. She had slept in, which made her and Kisha miss school. Kisha could see the agony in Destiny’s eyes. She realized she needed to explain why their mother wouldn’t be getting back home and that she moving to New York. Fate revealed to Kisha the repulsive news. The two of them sobbed and held each other until the two of them nodded off.      A couple months had passed, Destiny battled to get by. She needed to get food from her neighbors just with the goal that they could eat each night. She realized that she would need to accomplish something, or they would lose everything.
